We are situated in the Village of Harmans Cross which is between the historical town of Corfe Castle and the seaside resort of Swanage. The campsite itself is set in 8 acres of open countryside, with beautiful views over the Purbeck Hills, an excellent location for exploring the beauty of the Dorset coast and countryside. Harmans Cross Camping Park is open throughout July and August, we welcome dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times.

New Season

We now have a brand new male/female shower and toilet block with a token system for the showers - tokens 50p - available from the shop.

"We have stayed at this site on numerous occasions with both our tent and caravan. The site is run by a lovely couple called Karen and Mark who take immense pride in the upkeep of their facilities. It is a peaceful site, perfect for young families as there is a terrific play area at the end of the lane, Harmans Cross station is a three minute walk away" - Cool Camping

The Sunday Times Travel  Harmans Cross Voted Best for Family Fun

The Isle of Purbeck, at the southern tip of Dorset, is an old family favourite, thanks largely to beautiful, sweeping Studland Bay - three miles of clean, sand-edged shallow water, perfect for paddling and playing. For extra parent points, try pitching at the new Harmans Cross site, adjacent to the Swanage Railway - the steam trains whistle right by it on their way to Swanage, which has a Victorian pier and fish-and-chip shops. Pitch around the top edge of the site for sheltered, level ground and lovely views.
